Well that's how my race last weekend finished.
Big disappointment about my whole season. I had some ups with getting second at German Championships XCE ore my first U23 Bundesliga win but the rest of the season didn't worked out like I was hoping for. Causing of illness and injuries in the winter and final exams in spring I couldn't work on my self like I should. I worked hard the last months in summer after the exams but didn't found my flow.
Well that's how 2016 went. Luckily yesterday I came away with no serious injuries and now I'm more motivated and focused as never before for 2017.
I have to say a big thank you to the whole LEXWARE squad. Every single person were on point every race weekend! I'm happy to have you guys around me.
After a long period of hard training and the win ar the u23 category Nürburgring/ German bundesliga/ a few weeks ago, i decided to start the Vaude Trans Schwarzwald stage race. It was a nice experience but defenetly hard 5 days. Today i´m traveling to Spain to get the last preperation for the final Worldcup in Andorra. I´m looking forward to work my ass of!
Close but not enough for semifinals. Was caught 15 meters before the finish line. Had some proper heads with the following world champion Daniel Ferderspiel and other sprint specialists. To get 14th in a elite world championship without special preperation is quite ok but now the focus is on the next big races. Next stop Switzerland with a pit stop at a local race on Sunday.
Jumping into Worldchamps. Looking forward to great fights against world bests.
First win of this season check✔️
Won the short track at the #ultrabikemarathon at Freiburg. Great to win at home and even better if the organizer is one of our big sponsors. It was a bit rainy but fun anyway #whatsyourexcuse
Won the second place at yesterday's national championships eliminator behind a super strong simon_gegenheimer. Getting the silver metal with just one day of sprinting preparation was quite
unexpected. Got my ticket for worlds
Gränichen was a muddy one. Had a bad start but came back in lap 2 and 3 but unfortunately had a technical with my chainguide witch costs me about 3 minutes and every chance to get back to the top
ten. But shape is progressing fast. Now for one week at Livigno and next weekend nationals Eliminator.
Last laps before tomorrow's first race of the saison are turned. Rain but sadly no high temperature as in cairns. Anyway after one week of hard training I'm looking forward to test my shape.
Welcome to our new Wintersponsor ONEWAY. Super proud to represent such a big company and confident to have a great Decorator for the Winter.

"Winter Training" just started. This shot isn't from a train camp at Gran Canaria, Mallorca or South Africa. This is @freiburg 23 degrees, sweating and a lot of sun. What a start in the season

Well, had a good start and was sitting in the group around the top 5 in a super stong feld but a flat tire at the end of the first lap. After this mistake i didnt find my way back into the race. In the end i came in 21. place and got 5th in the Overall of Cross-Country and Eliminator.
All i have to say is Thank you for all the great support this year, especially Daniel Behre our Team owner, the Mechanics Sam, Marvin and Martin but also all our great sponsors Lexware, Scott, Shimano and Pearl izumi for making our sport makeabeal.
The Short race went ok. I came in 4th behind three Elite riders wich one of them get third of the European Games this year - Fabian Giger. I lost my first place in the Overall but anyway i had a great Eliminator year and i`m happy with what i`ve reached so i win the second place in the Overall! Tomorrow i ride the last importand race for 2015 so a last time all in.
No FairPlay today. After he nearly kills Paul van den ploeg the Italian puts me out of the race. I reached my goals with the quarter final but leaving the race because of that shit is sad. Anyway
I got the German kit and I'm even happy about that.
There some Pictures from the greates day of the year. So stunned to wear the stripes for one year.
Short professional clip about Germans at Ortenberg and one from my biggest friend Tobias Eise. Enjoy!
Even stunned. This was really hard work to be back on the top - but I like it there
Thanks to all my supporters who made that possible!
Tomorrow we've got the next highlight : Sprint World Championships at Andorra.

Shit day in the office. Had a great start and was on my way to the top 20 but a stupid crash puts me out of the race. Next stop-> German Championship Eliminator at Ortenberg.
Europeans yesterday went not really like I was hoping for. Had a very bad start but was making positions lap by lap. The problem was that the race was exactly one lap to long so in the last lap I
lost about 7 or 8 places. Finally finished in 32. Place. A solid result even because i wasn't riding my bike and the race preparation wasn't perfect. Thanks to Luca Schwarzbauer for giving me your
gun. Searched the engine but didn't found it yet
Many thanks to our mechanics for making it possible to race. And sorry to the Lexwareteam for that stressful weekend.
Next race - Europeans here at Chiesd'alpogo. Sadly I'm not in the Eliminator but hope the boys will rock at the second start of the Eliminator today after a heavy storm yesterday. All my focus is
on Sunday at 9 am. I'll revenge my stolen bike
What a amazing eliminator yesterday! Got into the final run with Daniel Federspiel the Worldchampion Fabrice Melz and Heiko Hog my strongest competitor in the GC. I was leading the first lap but
Daniel was stronger in the short and steep uphill. Had a sprint finish with Fabrice witch ended in a photo finish. Luckily I was faster bei 0,00001 sek. Now leading the overall standings and looking
forward to my race start at 1 pm.
Today is the #eliminator day. The big Guns like Daniel Federspiel and Fabrice Melz are
joining us at kmc Bundesliga Neustadt, not far away from my actually home place. I hope that I can find again the way for number #1 and making this Guns a difficult day
This one was a suffer day. Had a good start but maybe took a bit to much in the first lap. After lap one was sitting in the top 25 but the high altitude and the fast first lap brought me back to the 43. place
Worldcup number 3. is calling. The course is so beautiful and is fun every lap. Tomorrow will be a hard one because of my start place. Number 67 is even better than last time but there not that
much possibilities to overtake so it will be a "catchevertplace" race. Allover I'm on fire and ready to put everything into so put the pressure on your thumbs.
Nice Traincamp here at Livigno. We are here for the preperation of the third Worldcup at Lenzerheide this year. So nice Trails and a beautiful landscape makes hard training even easier. Hoping for a great result next Weekend!
This is why I love my sport so much. Ignoring the pain and pushing your body to the limit. The feeling riding past the finishline after a strong race and the feeling given all is the moment who
pushes me on the hard days on the bike.
Nationals are done now off to livigno for the 4th. Traincamp this year

Was fighting for the bronze-medal at last weekends nationals. My shape was better than I supposed so I'm satisfied with my 4th place. The last attack of Sven Strähle was a bit to heavy
Congrats to my teammates for racing damn fast!
Thanks to all supporters! Racing up this mountains was really fun
Thanks also to our mechanics and our Physio.

Puh, was a taff one at Gränichen #bmccup. Was in the leading position for the first 3 laps but made a mistake by attacking and break
down my Seattle so I had to raise it to the normal position and to follow my opponent and this was defenetly one point to much ? Didn't get back to him and got problems with my stomach ... Lost my
second place in the last lap. Finally a solid race and now looking forward to nationals
This is one of this moments when you wake up in the night and you have the idea to watch the sunrise.
JUST DO IT

Well the first round of the Worldcup 2015 is over. Had a great time in #novemesto and
Albstadt with the LEXWARE MOUNTAINBIKE TEAM and the National team. The results of the last two weeks aren't as good as I was hoping for but even ok when you look at the reasons how the races have
Now preparing for the nationals in 3 weeks with some racing in Switzerland this weekend
Thank you so much @Lexwareteam for the hugh support !!

Not the easiest start-place. Had a few problems in the first 2 laps but after the 3. lap was riding lap times like the guys in the top 30 so shape must be somewhere in my body
The first Bundesliga races are done. Put my focus on the Eliminator and got second in Wombach and third in Heubach. Now second in the Overall-ranking !!
